Ourika Valley

Ourika Valley is the closest destination from Marrakech. Due to its many waterfalls and wondeful nature, it is a very popular attraction. The Ourika valley spreads between the first foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Temperatures are cooler in the shadow of snowcapped High Atlas peaks, and this blooming valley a little over 50km south of Marrakesh is the city’s escape hatch from the soaring summer heat. Your trip starts at 09am from Dar Salam. After a short drive from Marrakech into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. You will take the road along the valley of Ourika, then you enter through a succession of clinging mountain villages. Highly appreciated for its beautiful streams and 7 waterfalls, beautiful cliffs, green valleys. You will explore a region which still practices a medieval agricultural tradition.

Ouzoud Waterfall

Ouzoud Waterfall are located near the Grand Atlas village of Tanaghmeilt, in the province of Azilal, 150 km northeast of Marrakech. Ouzoud means “the act of grinding grain” in Berber. This splendid Watter fall of more than 100 meters height constitutes one of natural attractions of most remarkable of the Moroccan ATLAS. We can go down at the bottom from the depression where the torrent precipitates in a deafening noise. Another path makes it possible to go until the top of the fall, from where the sight on the pit is impressive. Your driver will pick you up from Dar Salam at 08am and then start your Marrakech day trip to the beautiful Ouzoud Waterfalls. The drive is about 2 hours and a half with a possible 15 minutes stop to empty the tanks and take a good coffe to fully wake up. This trip will give you the opportunity to soak the beauty of the nature in Ouzoud Waterfalls, take an adventurous hike through Olive groves to the source of the waterfall, Take a swim and cool off at the base of the waterfalls.


Boats beneath the fortified ramparts of Essaouira, Morocco


Your driver will pick you up at 08am from Dar Salam. Situates in 175 kilometers away from Marrakech. The beach of Essaouira is a long ribbon of around ten kilometers bathed in surf. Its sheer size is surprising and its tranquility is reassuring. There is an invigorating sensation from the ocean breeze as soon as you set foot on the immaculate sand. You will also admire the view of goats on trees. Essaouira is a medieval city known for its annual festival of Gnaoua music. The UNESCO considers the city to be an international heritage. There are many other things to admire during your Essaouira trip from Marrakech such as its pleasant weather, place Moulay El Hassan, La Skala,the port, the ramparts, and the Jewish district ‘Derb Lealouj’.thanks to the ocean breeze, Essaouira benefits from cool air. It is a balneal small town of most attractive of the ATLATIC coast equipped with walls which divide the hurdy-gurdy city into several districts. It surprises by its small rectilinear streets. After the visit of the port with bronze guns, one can taste a lunch containing seafood. It is also a city where there is the opportunity of carrying on activities such as the quad and dromedaries tour, and especially surfing.

Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazat

About 30 Kilometer before Ouarzazate, on a10km minor road, is located the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Classified universal heritage by UNESCO, this strengthened village are a remarkable place and one of the gravitational places in Morocco. Restored partly, this fortress marks the spirit by its great beauty. The site is elsewhere very famous and is often used as decoration for the cinema. Once in the village, you will get a closer look at the Kasbah’s architecture with turrets on all the buildings, adorned with grilled windows and soft peach colored walls. These traditional houses are made of adobe, highly suitable for the climate conditions of the south and the summits of the mountains because it is an efficient temperature isolator and the building materials are abundant and require no transportation or significant transformation process.

Trip to Zagora will give you the chance to experience the best of the south, learn more about the Glaoui tribes and visit the most famous kasbahs of Morocco. Cross the Atlas Mountains and take the road to the Sahara Desert and the old caravane routes. Zagora day trip takes you across the chain of the High Atlas Mountains and over the famous Tizi-n-Tichka pass, one of the most dramatic passes in Morocco. (All along the road you can see Berber villages scattered along the side of the mountains, sometimes hard to distinguish from the mountainous entourage. As you reach the far side of the mountains the landscape changes drastically, becoming semi-arid and desert-like as the chain of the Atlas Mountains acts as barrier separating the Mediterranean climate of the north from the arid desert winds on the south-east. After the Tichka pass 2162m, you leave the main road and take a side road to the Telouet Kasbah, which belonged to the Pacha of the Atlas, the Glaoui, and stands in ruins after the last Pasha fled the country after the departure of the French armies. In the first kasbah you will visit only a few rooms that can be seen, as much of the kasbah has been closed off because of the falling ceilings and unsafe walls. However, the tiled walls, fluted pillars, beautifully painted wooden ceilings and colored glass windows of the reception rooms allow you to imagine what it was like in its prime.


You will start your journey from Marrakech to Dades Gorges. Across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet, and we continue to Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village (Ksour). You’ll take your lunch at Ait benhaddou or ouarzazate and continue to Dades valley, we will spend the night in a riad/hotel in dades gorges. After the breakfast, we go from Dades gorges to the erg chebbi Sahara desert in Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way, we’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and then we continue to Merzouga, After relaxing few minuts in Merzouga,we go to ride the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an camp(Nomad berber tents) with drums music in the middle of the Sahara. This is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise, After seeing the sunrise in desert we go back on the camels to Merzouga after the breakfast and take shower in Hotel then start our journey backing to Marrakech trough the Berber villages of the atlas mountains ( Tinjdad , tenghir todra gorges ,Boumalene-du-Dades ) we arrive a Marrakech in evening/night.
